Our upholstery specialists start by testing the fabric in a hidden spot. Most fabric sofas and rugs are cleaned with hot-water extraction: a cleaning solution is pushed deep into the fibres and immediately pulled back out, together with the dirt, by a powerful vacuum. Mattresses are vacuumed, steamed and extracted to reduce dust mites and allergens. Leather is cleaned and conditioned by hand, never soaked.
Stains are pre-treated with the right product for the stain: protein for food and pets, tannin for coffee and tea, oil-based for make-up and grease. We tell you honestly before we start which stains are likely to lift completely and which will only fade.
Fabrics are left damp, not wet, and usually dry in four to six hours with the AC on.
