Emergency questions

What counts as an emergency?
Anything that is unsafe or causing damage now: a burst or leaking pipe, water coming through a ceiling, no power or a burning smell from a socket or the board, a blocked drain overflowing, no AC in summer with children, elderly people or pets at home, or a lock-out with a child inside.
How fast will someone arrive?
Our emergency technicians are spread across Dubai on shift; typical arrival is 45 to 90 minutes depending on the area and the time. We tell you the expected time when you call and send the technician's name when they set off.
How much does an emergency call-out cost?
Between 07:00 and 22:00 there is no extra charge: you pay the normal price of the job. At night there is a fixed AED 149 emergency fee on top, shown before we send anyone.
What should I do while I wait?
For a leak, close the main water valve (usually in the kitchen, under the sink or at the water meter cupboard) and switch off electricity in the wet area at the board. For a burning smell, switch off the main breaker and leave the room. Never touch wiring or water near sockets.
