Your technician starts with a proper diagnosis: airflow, thermostat, electrical supply, capacitor and fan motor, gas pressure, and the drain system. The most common causes we see are low gas from a slow leak, a failed start capacitor on the outdoor unit, a frozen coil from dirty filters, and a blocked drain line that makes water drip from the indoor unit. Each of these can usually be fixed on the spot from the parts carried in every van.
Before any repair starts you get a fixed price, in writing on WhatsApp. If you go ahead, the AED 199 diagnosis charge is taken off the bill. If a part has to be ordered, we tell you how long it will take and, where we can, leave the unit running safely in the meantime.
We never top up gas without finding the leak first. Adding gas to a leaking system just means paying again in a few weeks. We find the leak with electronic detection, repair it, pressure test, and then charge the system to the right level.
Every repair is covered for 90 days. If the same fault comes back, so do we, at no charge.
If your AC stops cooling, switch it off for ten minutes and check the breaker and remote batteries before calling; it saves a visit more often than you would think. If it still fails, book an urgent repair and tell us the error code or symptom so the technician brings the right parts.
Common AC faults in Dubai homes
- Blowing warm air: usually low gas from a leak, a failed capacitor or a dirty coil.
- Water dripping from the indoor unit: a blocked drain line or a frozen coil thawing.
- Ice on the pipes: low airflow from dirty filters or low gas.
- Loud rattling: a loose fan, worn bearings or debris in the outdoor unit.
- Unit will not start: tripped breaker, failed thermostat or control board.
What to do before we arrive
Switch the unit off if water is leaking or you hear grinding, and put a towel under it. Check the breaker has not tripped. Do not keep resetting a unit that trips repeatedly: that can damage the compressor. If one room is unbearable, close its door and use another room while you wait.
